Welcome to the installation guide for your PIXMA TS5150 printer. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a smooth setup process:

Step 1: Unboxing

  1. Carefully unpack your PIXMA TS5150 printer from the box.
  2. Remove all packaging materials and protective tapes from the printer.

Step 2: Power Connection

  1. Find the power cord provided in the box.
  2. Connect one end of the power cord to the printer’s power port located at the back of the printer.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cord into a power outlet.

Step 3: Ink Cartridge Installation

  1. Open the front cover of the printer to access the ink cartridge slots.
  2. Remove the protective cover from the ink cartridge slots.
  3. Take out the ink cartridges from their packaging.
  4. Insert the ink cartridges into their corresponding slots. Ensure each cartridge is inserted firmly until it clicks into place.
  5. Close the front cover of the printer.

Step 4: Paper Tray Setup

  1. Pull out the paper tray from the front of the printer.
  2. Adjust the paper guides to fit the size of the paper you will be using.
  3. Load a stack of plain paper into the tray. Make sure the paper is aligned properly.

Step 5: Software Installation

  1. Insert the installation CD provided in the box into your computer’s CD/DVD drive. Alternatively, visit the Canon website to download the latest drivers and software for your printer model.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer drivers and software.
  3. During the installation process, select the connection method – either USB or wireless, based on your preference and printer setup.

Step 6: Connection Setup

  • For USB Connection: Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable when prompted.
  • For Wireless Connection: Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.

Step 7: Test Print

  1. Once the software installation is complete, perform a test print to ensure that the printer is functioning correctly.
  2. Send a print job from your computer or mobile device to the PIXMA TS5150 printer.
  3. Check the printed output for any issues such as smudges or misalignment.
