Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Unbox and Prepare the Printer
  2. Remove all packaging and protective materials.
  3. Install the print heads and fill the 6 ink tanks using the supplied ink bottles.
  4. Power on the printer and complete the initial setup (language, ink charging, and alignment).

  1. Choose your preferred connection: USB or Wi-Fi.
  2. For Wi-Fi: Use the software to connect the printer to your network during setup.
  3. Add the Printer in Windows
  4. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  5. Click Add a printer or scanner, select Canon G620, and click Add Device.
  6. Print a test page to confirm successful installation and connectivity.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Check the power:
    • Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
  • Check the cartridges:
    • Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
  • Check paper:
    • If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
  • Check W-iFi connection:
    • Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same network
    • Make sure that the Wi-Fi connection is stable
  • Reset the printer:
    • Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
  • Update printer drivers:
    • If drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
