WIFI Setup

1. Power on the Printer:
   • To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.

1. Connect the Printer to wifi:
   • Select WI-FI Connection.
   • Enter the password.
   • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
   • Connect Canon PIXMA G2460 to your Wi-Fi network.
2. Download Drivers:
   • Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Turn the printer on:
   • Plug into the power cord and press the power button to turn the printer on.
2. Connect the Printer to Your PC:
   • Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your PC.
3. Download Drivers:
   • Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wi-Fi/Wireless:

1. Download Drivers:
   • Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
2. Prepare the Printer:
   • On the touchpanel select Setting/Registration.
   • Select Login.
   • Click on Administrator.
   • Enter PIN.
   • Click on login.
   • Select device settings.
   • Select Preferences.
   • Select Network.
   • Scroll down and choose the wireless LAN option.
   • Tap wireless LAN settings.
   • Choose the Other (Set manually) option.
   • Tap Select Access Point.
   • Now all the available networks will be displayed, select your one. 
   • Enter Password and your printer is connected.
3. Add Printer:
   • Open the system preferences > Printers & Scanners.
   • Select your printer and click Add.
4. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wired/USB Connection:

1. Download Drivers:
   • Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed , run the file.
2. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
   • Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
   • On your Mac click on the system preference option.
   • Now click on Printer and Scanners.
   • The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

iOS only support Wireless Connections:

1. Connect to the Wifi:
   • Turn on your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i.
   • Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
   • Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
2. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
   • Go to the app store.
   • Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
   • Download and install the app.
3. Add printer:
   • Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
   • Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
   • App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i from the available list.
   • Click on Add printer.
4. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App: 
   • Download the app from the play store.
2. Add the printer on the app:
   • Click on the add icon on the phone.
   • Now click on the register printer.
   • Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i.
   • Now the printer is installed on your phone.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wireless/Wifi Connection:

1. Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
   • Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
   • Enter the password.
   • Wait until the printer displays connected.
2. Add Printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then Printers.
   • Your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wired/USB Connection:

1. Connect the printer to USB Cable:
   • Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
2. Add printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then printers.
   • Click on the Add Printer option.
   • Your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.
