Setting up your Canon Printer on Android Device

Setting up Canon Printer on your Android Device is a very easy process. Follow the step-by-step guide below:

Prepare Your Devices

Make sure your Canon printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
Ensure your Android device is connected to a Wi-Fi network as well.

Download the Canon PRINT App

Open the Google Play Store on your Android device. In the search bar, type “Canon PRINT” and press Enter. Locate the official “Canon PRINT” app developed by Canon Inc. Tap on it to open the app page. Tap the “Install” button to begin downloading and installing the app.

Launch the Canon PRINT App

Once the installation is complete, locate the Canon PRINT app on your device’s home screen or in the app drawer, and tap to open it.

Set Up the App

Upon launching the app, it may request permissions to access your device’s location and photos. Granting these permissions is necessary for functions like locating printers and printing photos. Tap “Allow” to proceed.

Connect Your Printer

On the app’s main screen, tap the “+” icon or “Add Printer” button to start the setup process. The app will search for available Canon printers on the same Wi-Fi network. When your printer’s model is listed, tap on it to select.

Complete the Connection

Follow the on-screen instructions to establish the connection between your Android device and the printer. You might be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi network password if the printer hasn’t been connected to this network before.

Test and Print

After successfully connecting the printer, you’ll receive a confirmation message. Test the connection by printing a test page directly from the app. You can also print documents and photos from your device’s storage or cloud services.
