G4910 Setup Guide

Overview

Canon PIXMA G4910 is a wireless ink tank printer which also offers scanning and copying. It is featured with high page yield. It uses refillable ink tanks, which allows for high page yields and cost effective printing.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take all the accessories and the printer itself from the box.
  2. Remove all the packaging materials.
  3. Remove the protective tape.
  4. Open the cartridge locking cover.
  5. Peel the protective tape off the cartridge.
  6. Install the cartridges.
  7. Close the cartridge locking cover.
  8. Remove the tank cap.
  9. Open the scanning unit.
  10. Open the ink tank cover on the left.
  11. Remove the ink tank cap.
  12. Take out the ink bottle from the package.
  13. Remove the bottle cap and pour ink in the ink tank.
  14. Return the tank cap to the inlet.
  15. Close the tank cover
  16. Close the scanning unit.
