Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Remove all packaging materials, including protective tapes inside and outside the printer.
  2. Open the ink tank covers, unseal the ink bottles , and fill the corresponding tanks carefully.
  3. Insert desired sheets into the rear tray and adjust the paper guides.
  4. Connect the power cord and press the power button to turn the printer on.

Canon MegaTank G2010 setup on Windows

  1. Plug the included USB cable into your PC and printer.
  2. Download drivers from the bottom of the page
  3. Launch the downloaded installer and follow on-screen prompts to complete installation.
  4. Once installed, open “Devices and Printers,” right-click the G2010, and select “Print test page” to confirm setup.
