Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
Connect the Printer to Your PC:
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your PC.
Download Drivers:
- Download and install the full driver package from the link given at the bottom of the page.
When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Print the Test page:
- To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notep

What should I do if my printer driver installation fails?

If the Driver installation fails, you will need to check the Operating system properly. Sometimes the 32 Bit OS does not support the 64 Bit OS Driver. Though the Operating system is detected by the Canon website automatically, you will still need to be sure.

Why is my printer showing offline or failing to connect to Wi-Fi?

This usually happens when the WiFi settings that you are trying to connect to are either wrong or the WiFi is not working. It can Also happen if the WiFi signal Strength is not good.
