Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

Canon G3900 setup on Windows

  1. Unbox the printer
  2. Install ink tanks as per given instructions
  3. Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
  4. Load paper into the tray
  5. Connect via USB or WiFi
  6. For USB, plug the cable into your PC.
  7. For WiFi, press and hold the WiFi button until it flashes. Press the colour button once, then the WiFi button again. The WiFi light should flash rapidly.
  8. Download drivers from the bottom of the page
  9. Follow onscreen instructions to complete the setup
  10. Print a test page to confirm normal operation

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Check the power:
    • Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
  • Check the cartridges:
    • Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
  • Check paper:
    • If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
  • Check WiFi connection:
    • Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same network
    • Make sure that the WiFi connection is stable
  • Reset the printer:
    • Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
  • Update printer drivers:
    • If drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
