Canon G3170 is all in one printer designed for high volume printing at a very low cost. It is particularly designed for homes, and small businesses. Canon G3170 supports wireless connectivity. It offers high volume printing at low cost. It is very compact and lightweight, it gets fit in small spaces too. Canon G3170 belongs to Canon’s MegaTank series which uses refillable ink tanks to reduce the cost.

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

Canon G3170 setup on Windows

  1. Power ON the Printer:
    a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
  2. Download Drivers:
    a. Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
    b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Connect the Printer:
    a. Run the driver file you downloaded.
    b. Select wifi Connection.
    c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
    d. Connect Canon G3170 to your Wi-Fi network.
    e. Now follow the on-screen instructions and complete the process.
  4. Print the Test page:
    a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
