Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

Canon G2900 setup on Windows

  1. Install the ink bottles, load paper into the tray, and connect the power cable.
  2. Press the power button to turn on the printer.
  3. Download drivers from the bottom of the page
  4. Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer driver and software.
  5. Since the G2900 uses USB, connect the printer to your PC using the supplied USB cable when prompted.
  6. The software will detect the printer and complete the setup.
  7. If not automatically added, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers and click Add a Printer.
  8. Open a document and print a test page to confirm the setup.
