Requirements & Prerequisite
Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.
Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove the outer packaging of the box and take the printer out of it.
- Take all the accessories from the box.
- Remove all the protective tape from the printer.
- Connect the power cord, and then press the ON button.
- Select language, date&time, time zone.
- Install the inks.
- Open the paper cassette and install the paper.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Cannot Find Machine on Check Printer Settings Screen:
- Solutions:
- Check the Printer Settings screen appears after searching the printer by Automatic search on the Search for Printers screen, click Redetect and search for the printer again by the IP address on the Search for Printers screen.
- Cannot Find Machine while Using Wireless LAN:
- Solutions:
- Make sure the printer is turned on, If the icon is not displayed, select Activate wireless LAN on Change LAN in LAN settings under Device settings. Make sure printer and wireless router network settings match.
- Paper Jam:
- Solutions:
- Turn off the printer, Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer.
- Check for torn paper pieces and Restart the printer.
- Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors):
- Solution:
- Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed. Run Print Head Cleaning. Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning, Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu. Ensure you’re using compatible paper
