Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX7100 – Windows (Wi-fi):

1. Prepare the printer:
   • Go to the printer display panel, click on the settings.
   • Click on the printer settings.
   • Click on LAN settings.
   • Click wi-fi.
   • Scroll down and click on wi-fi setup.
   • Click on manual connect.
   • Select your wi-fi network from the available list.
   • Click on use one router only.
   • Click on ok.
   • Enter the password and your printer is connected to the wi-fi network.
2. Download the Drivers:
   • Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Download the Drivers:
   • Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
2. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
   • Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
   • Go to the settings of your PC.
   • Search for bluetooth and devices.
   • Click on Printers and Scanners.
   • From the available printers list select your Canon MAXIFY GX7100.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX7100 – Mac (Wi-fi):

1. Download Drivers:
   • Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
2. Prepare the Printer:
   • Go to the printer display panel, click on the settings.
   • Click on the printer settings.
   • Click on LAN settings.
   • Click wi-fi.
   • Scroll down and click on wi-fi setup.

3. Add Printer:
   • Open the system preferences > Printers & Scanners.
   • Select your printer and click Add.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Download Drivers:
   • Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed , run the file.
2. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
   • Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
   • On your Mac click on the system preference option.
   • Now click on Printer and Scanners.
   • The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon MAXIFY GX7100.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX7100 – IOS:

1. Connect to the Wifi:
   • Turn on your Canon MAXIFY GX7100.
   • Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
   • Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
2. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
   • Go to the app store.
   • Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
   • Download and install the app.
3. Add printer:
   • Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
   • Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
   • App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon MAXIFY GX7100 from the available list.
   • Click on Add printer.
4. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX7100 – Android:

1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
   • Download the app from the play store.
2. Add the printer on the app:
   • Click on the add icon on the phone.
   • Now click on the register printer.
   • Select your Canon MAXIFY GX7100.
   • Now the printer is installed on your phone.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX7100 – Chrome OS (Wi-fi) :

1. Connect the printer to Wi-fi connection:
   • Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
   • Enter the password.
   • Wait until the printer displays connected.
2. Add Printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then Printers.
   • Your Canon MAXIFY GX7100 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Connect the printer to USB Cable:
   • Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
2. Add printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then printers.
   • Click on the Add Printer option.
   • Your Canon MAXIFY GX7100 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.
