Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX5520X Windows (Wi-fi):

1. Download the Drivers:

                                a. Download and install the driver.

                                b. Once the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Connect the wi-fi to the printer:

                                a. Press ok when the display shows Wifi setup.

                                b. Scroll ahead and click on the manual connect.

                                c. Now scroll forward to choose a wireless network.

                                d. Now select your network.

                                e. Enter the password.

                                f. Click on the settings icon and it will take you to the main screen displaying ready to print.

3. Print the Test page:

                                a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX5520X on Windows (USB):

1. Download the Drivers:

                                a. Download and install the driver.

                                b. Once the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Connect the printer with USB cable:

                                a. Plug the one end of the cable to the printer and one end to your PC.

                                b. Now go to the settings.

                                c. Click on bluetooth and devices.

                                d. Now click on Printers and Scanners.

                                e. From the available printers list select your Canon MAXIFY GX5520X.

3. Print the Test page:

                                a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX5520X Mac (Wi-fi):

1. Download the Drivers:

                                a. Download and install the driver.

                                b. Once the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Connect the Printer to wi-fi:

                                a. Select wifi connection.

                                b. Enter the password.

                                c. Connect Canon MAXIFY GX5520X to your selected wi-fi network.

3. Add printer (If Required):

                                a. Open the system settings > Printers & Scanners.

                                b. Click on add a printer, scanner, fax.

                                c. Select your printer and click Add.

4. Print the Test page:

                                a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX5520X Mac (USB):

1. Download the Drivers:

                                a. Download the full driver package.

                                b. Once the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Add printer (If Required):

                                a. Open the system settings > Printers & Scanners.

                                b. Click on add a printer, scanner, fax.

                                c. Select your printer and click Add.

3. Print the Test page:

                                a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX5520X IOS:

1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:

                                a. Go to the app store.

b. Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.

c. Download and install the app.

2. Add Printer:

                                a. In the app click on Add printer.

                                b. Now click on the Add switch.

                                c. Click on Register Printer.

                                d. Your phone will automatically detect Canon MAXIFY GX5520X, Now select it.

3. Print the Test page:

                                a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon MAXIFY GX5520X on Android:

1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:

                                a. Download the app from the play store.

2. Add the printer on the app:

                                a. Click on the add icon on the phone.

                                b. Now click on the register printer.

                                c. Select your Canon MAXIFY GX5520X.

                                d. Now the printer is installed on your phone.

3. Print the Test page:

                                a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wireless/Wifi Connection:

1. Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
   • Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
   • Enter the password.
   • Wait until the printer displays connected.
2. Add Printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then Printers.
   • Your Canon GX5520X should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page.
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wired/USB Connection:

1. Connect the printer to USB Cable:
   • Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
2. Add printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then printers.
   • Click on the Add Printer option.
   • Your Canon GX5520X should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page.
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.
