Setting up Guide for Windows:

1. Download the Drivers:.

1. Search for “Canon Maxify IB4170 drivers”.
2. Select the appropriate operating system (Windows) and your specific version.
3. Download the full driver and software package.

2. Install the Drivers:

1. Locate the downloaded file and run it.
2. Install the drivers and any optional software.
3. The installation process may include steps for connecting the printer to your computer (via USB or wireless network).

3. Connect the Printer:

1. USB:If connecting via USB, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and your computer.
2. Wireless Network:Connected to your wireless network.

4. Finalizing the Setup:

1. After the installation is complete, you may be prompted to print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Guide for MAC:

1. Download the Software: download the latest drivers and software package for your printer model and macOS version.
2. Run the Installer:

1. Locate the downloaded file and run the installer,
2. Choose Connection Type:During installation, you’ll be prompted to choose your connection type (USB or network).
3. Complete the software installation.

      3.  Connect the Printer:

1. Wired Connection (USB):If you’re using a wired connection, connect the printer to your Mac with a USB cable.
2. Wireless Connection:Enable Wireless: Ensure the printer’s wireless function is enabled.
3. Connect to your Network: the printer’s manual to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

     4.  Add the Printer to Your Mac:

1. Open System Settings: Click the Apple menu and select “System Settings”.
2. Go to Printers & Scanners: Click on “Printers & Scanners” in the sidebar.

      5. Add the Printer: Click the “Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax” button.

      6. Select the Printer: Choose your Canon iB4170  printer from the list and click “Add”.

      7.Test Print: You can now test print to ensure the printer is working correctly.

Setting up Guide for IOS:

1. Connect to Wi-Fi:

1. Make sure your printer and iOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. Print from your iOS device:

1. Open the document or photo you want to print and select the print option. Choose your iB4170 printer from the list of available printers.

3. Print settings:

1. Adjust print settings like number of copies and paper size, then tap “Print”.
2. Using the Canon PRINT App:
3. Download and install: Download the Canon PRINT app from the App Store.
4. Connect to the printer: Connect your printer to the network and add it to the app.

4. Print from the app: Open the app and select the document or photo you want to print.

Setting up Guide for Android:

1. Download and Install the Canon PRINT app:
2. Search for “Canon PRINT” in the Google Play Store and install it on your Android device.

      2. Start the app and agree to the terms:

1. Open the app and accept the license agreement and other terms and conditions.

      3. Connect to your Wi-Fi network:If you have a WPS-enabled router:   

      4. Cableless Setup (if needed):

1. Enter cableless setup mode on the printer: Navigate the  printer’s menu to find the wireless LAN settings and select “Change LAN” followed by “Wireless LAN”. Then, choose “Cableless setup”.
2. Connect to the printer’s temporary SSID: Your Android device will need to connect to a temporary Wi-Fi network created by the printer.
3. Use the Canon PRINT app to connect: The app will guide you through selecting your Wi-Fi network and entering its password.

      5. Register the printer:The app will then register your printer’s information.

      6. Complete the setup: The app to finalize the setup process.

Setting up Guide for Chromebook:

1. Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network:
2. Ensure your printer and Chromebook are connected to the same wireless network.
3. Add the printer to your Chromebook:Open your Chromebook’s settings (usually by clicking the time in the bottom right corner and then the gear icon).
4. Navigate to “Printers” (or “Printing”).
5. Select “Add printer”. locate and add your iB4170  printer.

      6. Optional: Install Canon PRINT app:
