PIXMA TS5300

Welcome to the installation guide for your PIXMA TS5300 printer. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a smooth installation process:

Step 1: Unboxing

  • Carefully unpack your PIXMA TS5300 printer from the box.
  • Remove all packaging materials and protective tapes from the printer.

Step 2: Power Connection

  1. Find the power cord provided in the box.
  2. Connect one end of the power cord to the printer’s power port located at the back of the printer.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cord into a power outlet.

Step 3: Ink Cartridge Installation

  1. Open the front cover of the printer to access the ink cartridge slots.
  2. Remove the protective cover from the ink cartridge slots.
  3. Insert the ink cartridges into their corresponding slots. Ensure that each cartridge is securely in place.
  4. Close the front cover of the printer.

Step 4: Paper Tray Setup

  1. Extend the paper tray from the front of the printer.
  2. Adjust the paper guides according to the size of the paper you will be using.
  3. Load a stack of plain paper into the tray. Make sure the paper is aligned properly and not exceeding the maximum capacity.

Step 5: Software Installation

  1. Insert the installation CD provided in the box into your computer’s CD/DVD drive. Alternatively, you can download the latest drivers and software from the Canon website.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer drivers and software.
  3. During the installation process, you may be prompted to choose the connection type. Select either USB or wireless connection, depending on your preference.

Step 6: Connection Setup

  • If you’re setting up a USB connection, connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable when prompted during the software installation.
  • If you’re setting up a wireless connection, follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.

Step 7: Test Print

  1. Once the software installation is complete, perform a test print to ensure that the printer is functioning correctly.
  2. Load a few sheets of plain paper into the paper tray.
  3. Send a print job from your computer or mobile device to the PIXMA TS5300 printer.
  4. Check the printed output for any issues such as smudges or misalignment.
