Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon G6065 setup on Windows

  1. Prepare the Printer
    • Unbox the printer, install the print heads, fill the ink tanks, and load paper.
    • Power it on and complete the initial settings using the printer screen.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi
    • On the printer, go to Setup > Wi-Fi Settings > Wireless LAN Setup.
    • Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  3. Install Canon Software
    • Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
    • Enter “PIXMA G6065”, download the Windows software package, and launch the installer.
  4. Follow Setup Prompts
    • Choose Wireless Connection when prompted.
    • Complete the installation and allow the installer to detect your printer.
  5. Confirm and Test
    • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners to ensure the printer is listed.
    • Print a test page to verify everything is working.

  • Make sure your printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Restart the printer and device if it is not detected.
