Canon G5000 setup on Windows

  1. Step 1: Unbox and Connect
  2. Unbox your Canon G5000, plug it into a power source, and ensure it is powered on.
  3. Step 2: Install Printer Drivers
  4. Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
  5. Search for “Canon G5000” and download the latest drivers for your version of Windows.
  6. Open the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions.
  7. Step 3: Connect via USB or Wi-Fi
  8. USB connection: Plug the USB cable into both your computer and the printer.
  9. Wi-Fi connection: Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password when prompted.
  10. Step 4: Add Printer to Windows
  11. Open the Start menu and go to Settings.
  12. Select Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  13. Click Add a Printer or Scanner.
  14. Select your Canon G5000 from the list and click Add Device.
  15. Your printer is now set up and ready to print from your Windows device!
