Power cable and a nearby electrical outlet
Ink or toner cartridges (included or purchased separately for Printers only)
Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password (For Wireless Printers)
Computer(Mac, Windows, Linux), Tablet (iPad, Android), or Smartphone (Android, iOS) for setup
Printer placed within range of your Wi-Fi router
USB cable

Unbox the printer
Plug it into the power source
Fill ink tanks as per the instructions
Load paper into the tray
Turn on the printer
Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the Wi-Fi lamp flashes, then connect via WPS or manual setup using the Canon PRINT app.
Download drivers from the bottom of the page
Launch the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
Once setup is complete, print a test page to confirm normal operation

Troubleshooting Steps

Check the power:
Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
Check the cartridges:
Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
Check paper:
If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
Check WiFi connection:
Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same network
Make sure that the WiFi connection is stable
Reset the printer:
