Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Unbox the printer and remove all protective packaging.
  2. Install the ink bottles as per the instructions in the user manual.
  3. Connect the power cable and turn on the printer using the power button.
  4. Install the toner cartridges.
  5. Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon G670 setup on Windows

  1. On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Wi-Fi setup and select “Easy Wireless Connect.”
  2. Download drivers from the bottom of the page
  3. Run the downloaded setup file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. When prompted, choose “Connect via Wireless LAN” and proceed with the network setup.
  5. Ensure your PC is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
  6. Complete the installation and wait for the setup confirmation message.
  7. Print a test page to verify that the printer is working correctly.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Check the power:
    • Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
  • Check the cartridges:
    • Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
  • Check paper:
    • If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
  • Check WiFi connection:
