WIFI Setup

1. Connect Printer to the Wi-Fi Network
   • On the printer’s control panel click on Home option.
   • Select the Menu option, then choose Network Settings.(You may ask to enter PIN the default System Password at purchase is often ‘7654321’).
   • Choose Wireless LAN Settings.
   • Select SSID Settings > Select Access Point.
   • Choose WPS Push Button Mode.
   • On your wireless router press and hold the WPS button for about 5 seconds, then release it.
   • The printer’s Wi-Fi lamp will flash and the message Connected appears. 
2. Download the Drivers:
   • Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
   • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i printer.
   • Print.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Download the Drivers:
   • Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
2. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
   • Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
   • Go to the settings of your PC.
   • Search for bluetooth and devices.
   • Click on Printers and Scanners.
   • From the available printers list select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
   • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i printer.
   • Print.

Wi-Fi/Wireless:

1. Download Drivers:

1. Download Drivers:

   • On your Mac click on the system preference option.
   • Now click on Printer and Scanners.
   • The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
   • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i printer.

1. Connect to the Wifi:
   • Turn on your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i.
   • Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
   • Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
2. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
   • Go to the app store.
   • Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
   • Download and install the app.
3. Add printer:
   • Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
   • Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
   • App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i from the available list. 
   • Click on Add printer.
4. Print the Test page:
   • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
   • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i printer.
   • Print.

1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
   • Download the app from the play store.
2. Add the printer on the app:
   • Click on the add icon on the phone.
   • Now click on the register printer.
   • Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i.
   • Now the printer is installed on your phone.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
   • Use Ctrl + P >Select your imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i printer.
   • Print.

Wireless/Wifi Connection:

1. Connect the printer to Wifi connection:

   • Click Printing and then Printers.
   • Your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
   • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i printer.
   • Print.

Wired/USB Connection:

1. Connect the printer to USB Cable:
   • Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
2. Add printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then printers.
   • Click on the Add Printer option.
   • Your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
   • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i printer.
   • Print.
