Overview
The Canon TX-4100 is a 44-inch large format printer designed for high-volume production of CAD/GIS drawings and posters, featuring fast speeds, advanced media handling, and robust security.
Features
- High-Speed Printing: The printer can produce up to 3.2 A1-sized CAD drawings per minute in fast economy mode, thanks to its high-speed carriage, PF-06 print head, and L-COA PRO image processor.
- Intelligent Media Handling: The system allows users to simply place a roll in the front-loading drawer, and the printer automatically detects the media type, width, and length, simplifying the loading process.
- Dual Roll Feeding (Optional): An optional Multifunction Roll System can be added to enable continuous printing or to load two different types/sizes of media simultaneously, allowing for seamless switching between jobs.
- Borderless Printing: The printer supports free-size borderless printing on all roll media sizes, which helps to minimize post-production cutting.
- Direct USB Printing: Users can print PDF and JPEG files directly from a USB thumb drive without a PC, using the printer’s 4.3″ LCD touchscreen operation panel to preview files
