Setting it up for Windows

1. On the printer screen, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Easy Wireless Connect, then confirm when prompted.
2. Download drivers from the bottom of the page.
3. Run the downloaded setup file and select “Wireless Connection” when prompted.
4. The software will detect the printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network automatically.
5. Enter your Wi-Fi password during the process if requested.
6. Wait for the setup to complete and print a test page if prompted.
7. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers to confirm the TS5501 is listed.
8. Set it as your default printer if desired.
9. Print a test page to ensure smooth operation.

Setting it up for Mac:

1. On the printer screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Easy Wireless Connect, and confirm when prompted.
2. Download drivers from the bottom of the page
3. Open the downloaded file and launch the Setup Assistant.
4. Choose “Wireless Connection” when prompted.
5. The software will detect the printer and guide you through connecting it to your Wi-Fi network.
6. Enter your Wi-Fi password when requested.
7. After setup, open System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
8. Click “+” to add a new printer if it doesn’t appear automatically.
9. Select Canon TS5501 from the list and click Add.
10. Print a test page to confirm setup is complete.

Setting it up on iOS

1. On the printer, go to Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Easy Wireless Connect, and confirm to start the connection mode.
2. On your iPhone or iPad, go to the App Store and download the Canon Print app.
3. Open the app and accept all necessary permissions.
4. Tap Add Printer > Register Printer > Connect via Wireless Router.
5. The app will search for printers on the same Wi-Fi network.
6. Select Canon TS5501 when it appears.
7. Enter your Wi-Fi password if prompted to complete the connection.
8. Once connected, the printer will appear on the app’s home screen.
9. You can now print photos, PDFs, or scan directly from your iOS device.
10. Alternatively, use AirPrint to print without the app by selecting the printer from the share menu in any app.

Setting it up on Android

1. On the printer, go to Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Easy Wireless Connect, then confirm to begin pairing.
2. On your Android device, open the Google Play Store and install the Canon Print app.
3. Open the app and accept permissions when prompted.
4. Tap Add Printer > Register Printer > Connect via Wireless Router.
5. The app will search for printers on the same Wi-Fi network.
6. Select your Canon TS5501 from the list.
7. If prompted, enter your Wi-Fi password to complete the setup.
8. Once connected, the printer will appear in the app’s home screen.
9. You can now print photos, documents, or scan directly from your Android device.

Setting it up for Chromebook

1. On the printer, go to Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Easy Wireless Connect, and follow prompts to join your Wi-Fi network.
2. On your Chromebook, click the clock in the bottom-right corner and select the Settings gear icon.
3. Scroll down and click Advanced to expand more options.
4. Under Printing, select Printers.
5. Your Chromebook should automatically detect the Canon TS5501 on the same Wi-Fi network.
6. Click the detected printer, then click Add.
7. ChromeOS will auto-configure the printer or prompt you to select a manufacturer and model.
8. Choose Canon and the closest matching driver (e.g., “Canon PIXMA TS5500 Series”) if needed.
9. Once added, print a test page using Ctrl + P from any document or webpage.
