1. Download drivers and software from the bottom of the page
2. Run the full driver and software package for Windows.
3. During installation, choose the preferred connection type: USB or Wi-Fi.
4. For Wi-Fi setup, use the printer’s control panel to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
5. The installer will detect the printer and complete the configuration process.
6. Once setup is done, print a test page to verify functionality.

1. On the printer, go to Wi-Fi Setup and follow the on-screen steps to connect it to your wireless network.
2. On your Mac, open System Settings and go to Printers & Scanners.
3. Click the “+” button to add a printer.
4. Your Canon PIXMA E4500 should appear in the list of available printers. Select it.
5. If it doesn’t appear, download the latest driver and software package from the bottom of the page.
6. Run the installer, then return to Printers & Scanners and add the printer again.
7. Select the correct driver if prompted, and click Add.
8. Print a test page to verify successful installation.

iOS only support Wireless Connections:

1. Connect it to your Wi-Fi network using the printer’s control panel.
2. On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store and download the Canon Print app.
3. Launch the app and allow the necessary permissions for network and device access.
4. Tap the “+” icon or select Add Printer, then choose Register Printer.
5. The app will search for printers connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
6. When the PIXMA E4500 appears, tap it to establish the connection.
7. If it doesn’t show up, follow the app’s instructions to use Easy Wireless Connect for manual setup.
8. Once connected, you can print photos, documents, and scan directly from your iOS device.
9. The E4500 also supports Apple AirPrint—you can print from most iOS apps without additional drivers.
10. Simply tap Share > Print, select the printer, and start printing.

3. Open the app and grant any necessary permissions for location, storage, and network access.
4. Tap Add Printer or the “+” icon, then choose Register Printer.

6. When the Canon PIXMA E4500 appears, tap on it to connect.
7. If the printer doesn’t appear, follow the Easy Wireless Connect method shown in the app to manually link your device.
8. Once connected, you can print documents and photos directly from the app.
9. You can also monitor ink levels, run maintenance, and scan using your Android device.
10. The Canon E4500 is now ready for wireless printing from Android.

1. Ensure the Canon PIXMA E4500 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromebook.
2. On your Chromebook, click the time in the bottom-right corner and open Settings.
3. Scroll down and click Advanced, then go to Printing > Printers.
4. Click Add Printer to start scanning for available printers on the network.
5. When the PIXMA E4500 appears in the list, click Add next to its name.
6. If it doesn’t appear, click Add manually, then enter the printer’s IP address (findable via the printer’s Wi-Fi settings).
7. Choose a name (e.g., “Canon E4500”) and select Generic Inkjet Printer if a specific driver isn’t listed.
8. Click Add, and the printer will be saved for future use.
9. Open any document, press Ctrl + P, and select the PIXMA E4500 from the list.
10. Click Print to complete the process.
