Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Power cable and a nearby electrical outlet
Ink or toner cartridges (included or purchased separately for Printers only)
Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password (For Wireless Printers)
Computer(Mac, Windows, Linux), Tablet (iPad, Android), or Smartphone (Android, iOS) for setup
Printer placed within range of your Wi-Fi router
USB cable

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

Take the printer out of the box.
Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
Install the toner cartridges.
Load paper into the paper trays.

Driver Installation:

- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Connection Setup:
- Wireless Setup:
  - On the printer’s screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Wireless LAN Setup.
  - Follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- USB Setup:
  - Connect the printer to your PC using a USB cable if a wired connection is preferred.
Using the Printer:
- Printing: Open the document, click File > Print, and select the TS5352a.
- Scanning: Use Canon IJ Scan Utility or Windows Fax and Scan.
