Setting it up on Mac:

1. On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button until the Power lamp flashes.
2. Press the Black button once, then the Wireless button again to enable Easy Wireless

Connect mode (Wi-Fi lamp will flash).

• Download drivers and software package from the bottom of the page
• Run the downloaded installer and follow on-screen instructions.
• Choose Wireless LAN Connection when prompted for a connection type.
• The software will search for and detect the printer on your Wi-Fi network.
• Complete the installation and register your printer if prompted.
• Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners, and confirm the TS3165 appears in the list.
• Print a test page to verify a successful connection.

Setting it up on iOS:

1. Press and hold the Wireless button until the Power lamp starts flashing.
2. Press the Black button once, then the Wireless button again to activate Easy Wireless

Connect mode (Wi-Fi lamp will blink).

• On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store and download the Canon Print app.
• Launch the app and grant necessary permissions (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.).
• Tap Add Printer > Register Printer > Easy Connection, and follow the in-app instructions.
• The app will detect the TS3165 and guide you to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
• Once connected, the printer will be available for use in the Canon app.
• You can also use AirPrint by tapping Share > Print from supported apps and selecting the TS3165.
• Print a test page to confirm successful installation.

Setting it up on Android:

1. Press and hold the Wireless button until the Power light flashes.
2. Press the Black button once, then press the Wireless button again to enter Easy Wireless Connect mode.
3. Confirm that the Wi-Fi lamp starts blinking, indicating the printer is in setup mode.
4. On your Android device, go to the Google Play Store and install the Canon Print app.
5. Open the app and allow necessary permissions (location, Bluetooth, etc.).
6. Tap Add Printer > Register Printer > Easy Connection, and follow the on-screen steps.
7. The app will detect the printer and connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
8. Once connected, the printer will appear in the app, ready for printing and scanning.
9. Optionally, install the Canon Print Service Plugin for system-wide printing support.
10. Print a test page to confirm successful setup.

Setting it up on Chromebook:

1. Press and hold the Wireless button until the Power lamp flashes.
2. Press the Black button once, then the Wireless button again to activate Easy Wireless Connect mode.
3. Confirm the Wi-Fi lamp is flashing, indicating the printer is ready for wireless setup.
4. On your Chromebook, click the clock in the bottom-right corner and open Settings.
5. Scroll down and click Advanced > Printing > Printers.
6. Under Available printers, select your Canon TS3165 and click Add.
7. If it doesn’t appear, click Add Printer manually and enter the printer’s IP address (available from the printer’s network settings).
8. Choose IPP protocol and select Canon or IPP Everywhere as the printer driver.
9. Click Add to complete the setup.
10. Print a test page to ensure successful configuration.
