Setting up Guide for Windows:

1. Download the File:
2. Click the “Download” button to start downloading the setup file, which will be in a self-extracting .exe format. 

      2. Run the Installer:

1. Once the download is complete, find the .exe file in your downloads folder and double-click it to start the installation. 

     3. The installation will proceed automatically, guiding you through the steps to connect the printer to your computer. 

     4. Connection Options: 

1. USB Connection:Connect your printer to the computer with a USB cable, and the driver will often be automatically detected. 

     5. Wireless Connection:The setup process will also guide you through connecting the    printer to your Wi-Fi network. 

     6. Using the Canon Print Application (Optional)

1. For a more user-friendly experience with a mobile device or to manage detailed settings, you can download the Canon Print app from the Microsoft Store. 
2. Open Microsoft Store: On your Windows PC, open the Microsoft Store app. 
3. Search for the App: In the search box, type “Canon Print” and press Enter. 
4. Download the App: Select the official Canon Print app and click “Get” to download and install it. 
5. Register Your Printer: Open the app and follow the prompts to select your printer and complete the registration for advanced features and web services.

Setting up Guide for MAC:

1. Install the Software:

1. Double-click the downloaded  to mount it on a Disk Image. 
2. Double-click the mounted Disk Image to open the installer. 
3. Double-click the packaged installer file to launch the installation. 

4. Follow the Setup Instructions:

1. The “Master Setup” will launch, guiding you through the process. 
2. You’ll need to make the connection settings for your product. This involves selecting a connection method, such as: 
3. Wireless: If using Wi-Fi, ensure your Mac and the printer are on the same network. The software will search for the printer, and you’ll select it from a list. 
4. USB: If connecting via USB, connect the printer to your Mac using a USB cable. 

5. Complete the Installation:

1. Once installation is complete, you can perform a test print.

Setting up Guide for Android:

1. Download the Canon PRINT app:
2. Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device and download the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY” app.

      2. Connect to Wi-Fi:

1. Ensure your printer is turned on and connected to the same wireless network as your Android device. You can use the printer’s setup menu to find and connect to your network, or use the Wireless Direct feature to connect directly.

      3. Add the printer to the app:

1. Open the Canon PRINT app.
2. Tap on the “Add printer” button, then select “Register Printer”.
3. The app will search for compatible printers on the network.
4. Tap on your Canon MX492  printer from the list of found devices to complete the setup.

Setting up Guide for Chromebook:

1. Open Chromebook Settings: On your Chromebook, select the time in the bottom right corner and then select Settings. 

1. Navigate to Printers: Select Advanced > Printers. 
2. Add your printer: Select Add printer. 

     2. Enter printer details:

1. Name: Give your printer a recognizable name. 
2. Address: Enter the IP address you found in step 2. 
3. Protocol: Select Internet Printing Protocol (IPP). 
4. Queue: Enter ipp/print. 

      3. Add the printer: Select Add to add the printer to your Chromebook.
