- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer Not Detected (Windows or Mac)
- Check Connections
Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and computer.\
Try a different USB port.
Restart the printer and computer.
Driver Reinstallation
Uninstall any old drivers.
Download the latest drivers from Canon’s Official Support Page. - Printer Not Responding
Ensure the printer is powered ON.
Check if the ink cartridges are properly installed.
Confirm there are no paper jams.
Run the Printer Troubleshooter on Windows.
Go to Settings → Devices → Printers & Scanners
Select your printer → Manage → Run the troubleshooter - Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, or Blurry Prints)
Perform a Nozzle Check & Cleaning:
On Windows:
Go to Devices and Printers
Right-click Canon MG2550S → Printing Preferences
Locate Maintenance tab → Perform Nozzle Check or Cleaning
Use genuine Canon ink cartridges.
Check paper type and settings match. - Paper Jam or Paper Feed Issues
Turn off the printer and unplug it.
Gently remove any jammed paper from:
Rear paper tray
Front output slot
Ensure the paper is loaded correctly and not exceeding the limit (max 60 sheets).
Use flat, good-quality paper.
