Setup and Installation

  1. Take all the accessories and the printer itself from the box.
  2. Remove all the packaging materials. 
  3. Remove the protective tapes.
  1. Press on the power button to turn the printer on.
  2. Unpack the ink cartridges and install them.
  3. Load the paper.

Setting up Canon E568 Windows (Wifi):

  1. Prepare the printer:

Press and hold the wi-fi icon until the alarm button starts flashing two times.

Press the WPS button on the router within 2 minutes.

The blue Wi-Fi light will stay lit once connected.

  1. Download the Drivers:

Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.

Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Print the Test page:

Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

  1. Download the Drivers:

Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.

Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:

Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.

Go to the settings of your PC.

Search for bluetooth and devices.

Click on Printers and Scanners.

From the available printers list select your Canon E568.

  1. Print the Test page:

Setting up Canon E568 Mac (Wifi):

  1. Download Drivers:

Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.

Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.

  1. Prepare the printer:

Now click on Printer and Scanners.

The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon E568.

Setting up Canon E568 IOS:

  1. Connect to the Wifi:

Turn on your Canon E568.

Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.

Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.

  1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:

Go to the app store.

Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.

Download and install the app.

  1. Add printer:

Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.

Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.

App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon E568 from the available list.

Click on Add printer.

  1.  Print the Test page:

Setting up Canon E568 Android:

  1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App: 

Download the app from the play store.

  1. Add the printer on the app:

Click on the add icon on the phone.

Now click on the register printer.

Select your Canon E568.

Now the printer is installed on your phone.

  1. Print the Test page:

Setting up Canon E568 Chrome OS (Wi-fi) :

  1. Connect the printer to Wifi connection:

Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.

Enter the password.

Wait until the printer displays connected.

  1. Add Printer:

Click the Settings icon.

In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.

Click Printing and then Printers.

Your Canon E568 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.

Click Add.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

  1. Connect the printer to USB Cable:

Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.

  1. Add printer:

Click the Settings icon.

In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.

Click Printing and then printers.

Click on the Add Printer option.

Your Canon E568 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.

Click Add.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Troubleshooting steps for Canon E568 are:

  1. Printer not connecting to wi-fi:

Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.

Solutions:

Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct

Place the printer close to the router

Re-run Easy Wireless Connect

Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect

Restart the router and printer

Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website

  1. Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:

Solutions:

Ensure both printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network

Restart your printer and device

Reinstall the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile)

For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected

On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver

  1. Paper Jam:

Solutions:

Turn off the printer

Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer

Check for torn paper pieces

Restart the printer

  1. Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors)

Solution:

Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed

Run Print Head Cleaning:

Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning

Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu

Ensure you’re using compatible paper
