Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Remove all packaging material and protective tapes from the printer
  2. Take out documentation material, power cord and other accessories from the box.
  3. Connect the power cord and turn ON the printer
  4. Install the ink cartridges
  5. Load paper into the paper tray

Canon PIXMA E3140 setup on Windows

  1. Download the driver and software:
    • Select your operating system (Windows). Download the full driver and software package. 
  2. Install the software:
    • Double-click the downloaded file to start the setup process.
  3. Connect the printer:
    • If the printer driver isn’t automatically installed, your computer might not be detecting the printer. You may need to manually add the printer through your Windows settings. 
  4. For wireless connections:
    • Ensure your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer. 
  5. For USB connections:
    • Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.
