Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Remove the Canon TS3130S from its packaging and take off all protective materials.
  2. Open the front cover and carefully insert the ink cartridges into their respective slots until they click into place.
  3. Adjust the paper tray to fit the paper size you are using, then load the paper into the tray.
  4. Plug the printer into a power outlet and turn it on using the power button.

Driver Installation

  1. Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Choose the connection type: Wireless Connection or USB Connection.

Wireless Connection Setup

  1. Press and hold the Direct button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp flashes.
  2. Use the Canon installer on your Windows PC to detect the printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi credentials during the setup process if prompted.

USB Connection Setup

  1. Connect the printer to your Windows PC using a USB cable.
  2. The system should automatically detect the printer and install the driver.
