Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Check each one off as you get it.

Overview

The Canon PIXMA TS202 is a basic, print-only inkjet printer designed for simple, affordable home use. It is a wired-only model, relying on a USB connection to a computer for printing.

Features

High-quality printing: The TS202 uses a FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) Hybrid Ink system to produce detailed documents and photos with a maximum color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi.
Dual-cartridge system: The printer uses a pigment-based black ink cartridge for sharp text and a dye-based color cartridge for vibrant photos. It is also compatible with higher-yield XL cartridges, which can extend the time between replacements.
Borderless photo printing: It is capable of printing 4″ x 6″ borderless photos in about 70 seconds.
Compact design: With a small and lightweight form factor, the printer can fit into tight spaces.
Rear paper tray: It features a dedicated rear paper tray that holds up to 60 sheets of plain paper or 20 sheets of 4″ x 6″ photo paper.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Remove all packaging material and protective tapes from the printer
Take out documentation material, power cord and other accessories from the box.
Connect the power cord and turn ON the printer
Install the ink cartridges
Load paper into the paper tray
