TR8630a
Last updated August 21, 2026
The Canon PIXMA TR8630a printer is part of Canon's consumer inkjet line, built for homes and small home offices handling everyday mixed printing — documents, photos, forms, and school or hobby work. Unlike Canon's ink tank (MegaTank/G TR8630a) or large-format imagePROGRAF lines, the PIXMA TR8630a uses replaceable ink cartridges, typically a two-cartridge FINE system pairing pigment black for sharp text with dye-based color for photos.

- It can be prevented by updating the printer firmware, which is available for Windows and Mac.
