Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Carefully remove the iP8770 from its packaging, discarding any protective materials.
- Open the front cover and install the ink cartridges into their respective slots, ensuring they click into place.
- Adjust the paper guides in the rear tray and load the desired paper size.
- Plug the power cord into an outlet and press the power button to turn on the printer.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer not connecting to wi-fi:
- Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.
- Solutions:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct
- Place the printer close to the router
- Re-run Easy Wireless Connect
- Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect
- Restart the router and printer
- Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website
- Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:
