Overview

The Canon Pixma TS4090 is an entry-level, compact inkjet photo printer designed for home use. It is primarily a print-only device that offers high-quality color output for both documents and photos, but it is notable for its lack of wireless connectivity, relying solely on a USB connection.

Features

Connectivity: Connects via USB only. It does not support Wi-Fi or network connectivity.
Ink System: Uses a FINE hybrid ink system with a pigment-based black ink for crisp text and three dye-based inks for vivid color photos (PGI-243 black and CLI-244 color standard cartridges).
Print Resolution: Capable of a maximum color resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi, ensuring detailed prints.
Paper Handling : a rear paper tray with a capacity of 60 sheets of plain paper or various photo paper sizes.
Print Speed: Prints at approximately 7.7 images per minute (ipm) in black and 4.0 ipm in color (ISO standard).
Software: Compatible with Canon’s My Image Garden software, which assists with organizing photos and applying creative filters.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Remove all packaging material and protective tapes from the printer
Take out documentation material, power cord and other accessories from the box.
Connect the power cord and turn ON the printer
Install the ink cartridges
Load paper into the paper tray
