WIFI Setup

1. Prepare the printer:
   • Go to the printer display panel and click on the setting icon.
   • Click on the printer setting.
   • Click on LAN settings.
   • Select wi-fi.
   • Select wi-fi setup.
   • Choose manual connect.
   • Your printer will start searching for available networks.
   • Select your wi-fi network.
   • Select use one router only and press ok.
   • Select mac address.
   • Enter your wi-fi password.
   • Press ok and your printer is connected.
2. Download the Drivers:
   • Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Download the Drivers:
   • Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
2. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
   • Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
   • Go to the settings of your PC.
   • Search for bluetooth and devices.
   • Click on Printers and Scanners.
   • From the available printers list select your Canon MAXIFY GX1090.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wi-Fi/Wireless:

1. Download Drivers:
   • Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.

3. Add Printer:
   • Open the system preferences > Printers & Scanners.
   • Select your printer and click Add.

   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wired/USB Connection:

1. Download Drivers:
   • Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
   • Once the installation is completed , run the file.
2. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
   • Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
   • On your Mac click on the system preference option.
   • Now click on Printer and Scanners.
   • The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon MAXIFY GX1090.
3. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

1. Connect to the Wifi:
   • Turn on your Canon MAXIFY GX1090.
   • Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
   • Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
2. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
   • Go to the app store.
   • Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
   • Download and install the app.
3. Add printer:
   • Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
   • Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
   • App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon MAXIFY GX1090 from the available list.
   • Click on Add printer.
4. Print the Test page:
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

1. Turn on the Printer:
2. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the power button.
3. Connect the Printer to wi-fi:
4. Select wi-fi Connection.
5. Enter the password.
6. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
7. Connect Canon MAXIFY GX1090 to your Wi-Fi network.
8. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
9. Open the Play Store on your Phone.
10. Search for “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY”.
11. Tap Download and install the app.
12. Connect Printer to Wi-Fi Using App:
13. In the Canon PRINT app, click “Add Printer”.
14. Select “Register Printer” > “Connect via Wireless Router”.
15. App will automatically detect your printer.
16. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect.
17. Print the Test page:
18. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wireless/Wifi Connection:

1. Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
   • Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
   • Enter the password.
   • Wait until the printer displays connected.
2. Add Printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then Printers.
   • Your Canon MAXIFY GX1090 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page.
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wired/USB Connection:

1. Connect the printer to USB Cable:
   • Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
2. Add printer:
   • Click the Settings icon.
   • In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
   • Click Printing and then printers.
   • Click on the Add Printer option.
   • Your Canon MAXIFY GX1090 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
   • Click Add.
3. Print the Test page.
   • Print a test page to confirm the setup.
