Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  • Take the scanner out from the box.
  • Remove the packaging.
  • Remove the protective tape.
  • Turn the scanner on.
  • Prepare the Scanner, place the scanner on a flat.
  • Gently clean the glass with a soft lint-free cloth.

Canon DR-C240 setup on Windows

  1. Download the Drivers:
    • Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page. b.
    • Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
  2. Connect the scanner:
    • Plug the USB cable into the scanner and computer.
  3. Scan the document:
    • Place your document face down on the scanner, select the document type, and start the scan.
