Requirements & Prerequisite
Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.
Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Carefully remove the Canon PRO-G1 from its packaging and discard any protective materials.
- Open the printer cover and insert the ink cartridges into their designated slots until they click securely into place.
- Adjust the paper tray to fit your desired paper size and load the paper into the tray.
- Connect the power cord to the printer and plug it into a power outlet. Press the power button to turn it on.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer not connecting to wi-fi:
- Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.
- Solutions:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct
- Place the printer close to the router
- Re-run Easy Wireless Connect
- Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect
- Restart the router and printer
- Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website
- Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:
