Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

Canon PIXMA E3491 setup on Windows

  1. Turn on the printer
    • Connect the power cord and turn on the printer.
    • Install ink cartridges
    • Load paper: Place paper in the paper tray.
  2. Connect to your computer (USB or Wireless):
    • USB:
      • Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
    • (Wi-Fi):
      • You’ll need to connect the printer to your home Wi-Fi network first. This can be done through the printer’s settings menu or by using the printer’s Wi-Fi button. Once connected, you can then add the printer to your computer through Windows settings.
  3. Install the Driver:
    • Automatic Installation:
      • If you connect via USB, the driver may be installed automatically.
    • Manual Installation:
      • If the driver doesn’t install automatically, you can download the latest driver from the link given at the bottom of the page.
    • Adding the Printer:
      • Search for “Add a printer” and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Verify and Test:
    • Check Print Settings:
      • After installation, you can verify that the printer is properly installed by checking your computer’s printer settings and then printing a test page to check.
