Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Setup on Windows

  1. Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi
    • On the printer screen, go to Settings > LAN Settings > Wireless LAN Setup.
    • Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  2. Download and Install the Software
    • Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
    • Enter “TS7440a”, download the Windows driver package, and launch the installer.
  3. Complete Installation
    • Choose Wireless Connection during setup.
    • Follow on-screen instructions to detect and add your printer.
  4. Test the Setup
    • Print a test page from any Windows application to ensure everything works correctly.

  1. If the printer isn’t showing up, restart both the printer and your device.
