Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Driver Installation

  1. Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Wireless Connection Setup

  1. On the printer, press the Menu button and navigate to LAN Settings > Wireless LAN Setup.
  2. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  3. During the driver installation, choose Wireless Connection and follow the prompts to complete the setup.

USB Connection Setup

  1. Connect the printer to your Windows PC using a USB cable.
  2. The system should detect the printer and automatically install the driver.
  3. If not, manually add the printer:
    • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Add a Printer and select the TR4645.

  • Use Canon software or Windows tools to manage printing and scanning tasks.
