Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon TR4551 setup on Windows

 Setup for Windows

  1. Driver Installation:
    • Download Drivers from the bottom of the page.
    • Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. Connection Setup:
    • Wireless Setup:
      • On the printer, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Wireless LAN Setup.
      • Follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
    • USB Setup:
      • Connect the printer to your PC using a USB cable if preferred.
  3. Using the Printer:
    • Printing: Open the document, click File > Print, and select the TR4551.
    • Scanning: Use the Canon IJ Scan Utility or Windows Fax and Scan.
