Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer Not Powering On
- No lights or sounds
- Ensure the power cable is firmly plugged into the wall and printer.
- Try a different power outlet.
- Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds.
- If still dead, unplug for 10 minutes, then retry.

- Wi-Fi Connection Issues
- Printer not connecting to Wi-Fi or computer not detecting printer.
- Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on printer:
- Hold the Wi-Fi button until power light flashes → press Black or Color button → Wi-Fi light should blink and then become steady.
- Ensure your printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Reinstall the printer driver on your device or use the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile).
- Reset network settings:
- Hold Stop until the alarm lamp flashes 21 times, then release to reset network settings.
- Printer not connecting to Wi-Fi or computer not detecting printer.
- Poor Print Quality (Lines, Faded, Smudges)
- Blurry or streaky prints
- Print Head Cleaning:
- Windows: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Canon G1930 > Printing Preferences > Maintenance tab > Cleaning.
- Mac:
- Use System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > G1930 > Options & Supplies > Utility.
- Perform Deep Cleaning if quality is still bad.
- Run Print Head Alignment.
- Check ink levels. If ink is low, refill tanks with Canon GI-61 ink.
- Paper Jam or Feed Issues
- Power off printer.
- Open front and rear covers to inspect for jammed paper.
- Gently remove paper, avoiding any rips.
- Check for any debris inside.
- Reinsert paper properly (aligned and not overfilled). • Use only recommended paper sizes and types
