The CanoScan LiDE 220 is a high-performance flatbed scanner that combines compact design with advanced features, making it ideal for both home and professional use. This scanner offers a maximum optical resolution of 4800 x 4800 dpi, allowing for detailed and vibrant scans of documents, photos, and artwork. Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take the scanner out from the box.
  2. Remove the packaging.
  3. Remove the protective tape.
  4. Turn the scanner on.
  5. Connect it to your computer using the USB cable.
  6. Prepare the Scanner, place the scanner on a flat.
  7. Gently clean the glass with a soft lint-free cloth.

Canon LiDE 220 setup on Windows

Setting up Canon CanoScan LiDE 210 – Windows (USB): 

  1. Download the Drivers:

a. Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.

b. Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Connect the scanner:

a. Plug the USB cable into the scanner and computer. 

  1. Scan the document:

a. Place your document face down on the scanner, select the document type, and start the scan. 

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check the power connection.
  2. Check the lock switch.
  3. Uninstall drivers or try to install new drivers.
  4. If you see Slow or Hanging issues reduce scan resolution in the software (e.g., from 1200 dpi to 300 dpi).
  5. If there are Lines / Streaks on Scans clean the scanner glass with a microfiber cloth and mild glass cleaner.
