Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Step 1 of 5 Take printer out

Open the box fully and lift the printer upward with support from both sides.

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Driver Installation

  1. Driver Download Links in the bottom of the page.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Connection Setup

  • Wireless or Ethernet Connection:
    1. Use the printer’s control panel to navigate to Menu > Network Settings > Wireless LAN Settings.
    2. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
    3. During driver installation, select Network Connection and follow the prompts.
  • USB Connection:
    1. Connect the printer to your PC using a USB cable.
    2. The driver installation should detect the printer automatically.
