Setting up Canon i-SENSYS MF270 – Windows (Wifi):

1. Connect to Wifi:

                              a. From the display select your network.

                              b. Enter the password.

                              c.  Connect Canon i-SENSYS MF270 to your selected wifi network.

                              d. Your printer is connected.

1. Download the Drivers:

                              a. Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.

                              b. Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.

1. Print the Test page:

                              a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Download the Drivers:

                              a. Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.

                              b. Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.

1. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:

                              a. Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.

                              b. Go to the settings of your PC.

                              c. Search for bluetooth and devices.

                              d. Click on Printers and Scanners.

                              e. From the available printers list select your Canon i-SENSYS MF270.

1. Print the Test page:

                              a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon i-SENSYS MF270 – Mac (Wifi):

1. Download Drivers:

                              a. Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.

                              b. Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.

1. Connect the Printer to wifi:

                              a. Select wifi connection.

                              b. Enter the password.

                              c. Connect Canon i-SENSYS MF270 to your selected wifi network.

1. Add Printer:

                              a. Open the system preferences > Printers & Scanners.

                              b. Select your printer and click Add.

1. Print the Test page:

                              a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Download Drivers:

                              a. Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.

                              b. Once the installation is completed , run the file.

1. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:

                              a. Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.

                              b. On your Mac click on the system preference option.

                              c. Now click on Printer and Scanners.

                              d. The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon i-SENSYS MF270.

1. Print the Test page:

                              a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon i-SENSYS MF270 – IOS:

1. Connect to the Wifi:

                              a. Turn on your Canon i-SENSYS MF270.

b. Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.

                              c. Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.

1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:

                              a. Go to the app store.

b. Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.

c. Download and install the app.

1. Add printer:

                              a. Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.

                              b. Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.

                              c. App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon i-SENSYS MF270 from the available list.

                              d. Click on Add printer.

1.  Print the Test page:

                              a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon i-SENSYS MF270 – Android:

1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:

                              a. Download the app from the play store.

1. Add the printer on the app:

                              a. Click on the add icon on the phone.

                              b. Now click on the register printer.

                              c. Select your Canon i-SENSYS MF270.

                              d. Now the printer is installed on your phone.

1. Print the Test page:

                              a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon i-SENSYS MF270 – Chrome OS (Wifi) :

1. Connect the printer to Wifi connection:

                              a. Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.

                              b. Enter the password.

                              c. Wait until the printer displays connected.

1. Add Printer:

                              a. Click the Settings icon.

                              b. In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.

                              c. Click Printing and then Printers.

                              d. Your Canon i-SENSYS MF270 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.

                              e. Click Add.

1. Print the Test page:

                              a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

1. Connect the printer to USB Cable:

                              a. Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.

1. Add printer:

                              a. Click the Settings icon.

                              b. In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.

                              c. Click Printing and then printers.

                              d. Click on the Add Printer option.

                              e. Your Canon i-SENSYS MF270 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.

                              f. Click Add.
