Requirements & Prerequisite

Gather the following items before you begin setup. Check each one off as you get it.

Power cable and a nearby electrical outlet

Canon IX6870 WIFI A3 Printer with Ink Tank CISS SystemThe Canon Pixma iX6870 is a single-function, 5-ink color inkjet printer known for its A3+ borderless printing capabilities and wireless connectivity. It features a high print resolution, individual ink tanks (including an optional XXL option), and mobile printing capabilities.

High Resolution: Offers a maximum print resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi for detailed images and text.
A3+ Borderless Printing: Can print borderless photos and documents up to A3+ size.
5-Ink System: Utilizes five individual ink tanks for vibrant color and sharp black text.
Optional XXL Ink Tanks: XXL ink tanks provide a higher page yield, reducing the frequency of ink replacements.
Print Speeds: Prints up to 14.5 images per minute (ipm) for black and 10.4 ipm for color on A4 paper
Photo Print Speed: Can print a 10.16 x 15.24 cm borderless photo in approximately 36 seconds

Unboxing & Initial Setup

Take the printer out of the box.
Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
Install the toner cartridges.
Load paper into the paper trays.
