Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove the protective tape.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the cartridges.
- Load paper.

Canon XK510 setup on Windows
Setting up Canon PIXUS XK510 – Windows (wi-fi):
- Prepare the printer:
- Select menu on printer’s screen.
- Choose Network Settings.
- Select wireless LAN settings.
- Select SSID Settings.
- Choose Select Access Point.
- Now select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter your password.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXUS XK510 printer.
- Print.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon PIXUS XK510.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXUS XK510 printer.
- Print.

Setting up Canon PIXUS XK510 – Mac (Wi-fi):
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
- Prepare the printer:
- Select menu on printer’s screen.

- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon PIXUS XK510.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXUS XK510 printer.
- Print.

Setting up Canon PIXUS XK510 – IOS:
- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon PIXUS XK510.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon PIXUS XK510 from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXUS XK510 printer.
- Print.

Setting up Canon PIXUS XK510 – Android:
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon PIXUS XK510.
- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXUS XK510 printer.

Setting up Canon PIXUS XK510 – Chrome OS (Wi-fi) :
- Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
- Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
- Enter the password.
- Wait until the printer displays connected.
- Add Printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then Printers.
- Your Canon PIXUS XK510 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Minor print issues:
