- Physical Connections: Ensure all cables (power, USB, or Ethernet) are securely connected. For Wi-Fi connections, make sure the printer is connected to the network, and the signal is strong.
- Basic Restart: Turn off both the printer and the computer, wait a few moments, and then turn them back on. This can resolve temporary glitches.
- Check Consumables:Paper: Ensure the paper trays are loaded correctly and the paper size settings match the loaded paper.
- Ink/Toner: Check the ink levels on the LCD panel. Low or empty ink can prevent printing.
- Cartridges/Print Head: Make sure ink tanks and print heads are correctly installed and clicked into place. A print head cleaning kit can help resolve issues with clogged nozzles or poor print quality.
- Maintenance Cartridge: Check the status of the maintenance cartridge and replace it if necessary.
