Canon imagePROGRAF TX-5410 is a large format printer with features like fast and high quality prints, advanced security, and impressive media handling. It uses LUCIA TD pigment ink for sharp text, accurate lines. Canon imagePROGRAF TX-5410 delivers water resistant printing. It comes with an extensive suite of software which includes Direct Print Plus for batch printing multiple file types and PosterArtist Lite for design work.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Remove the packaging and protective tape.
- Assemble the stand and lift the printer, place the printer on the stand.
- Turn the printer on.
- Select language, time zone, region.
- Install the ink tanks.
- Install the print head.
- Load the paper.

Canon TX-5410 setup on Windows
Setting up Canon image PROGRAF TX-5410 – Windows (Wi-fi):
- Prepare the printer:
- Tap the home icon on the printer display.
- Then tap LAN settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi setup.
- Tap Easy wireless connect.
- Tap OK.
- The printer preparation is complete.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon image PROGRAF TX-5410.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon image PROGRAF TX-5410 – Mac (Wi-fi):
- Prepare the printer:
- Tap the home icon on the printer display.
- Then tap LAN settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi setup.
- Tap Easy wireless connect.

- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon image PROGRAF TX-5410.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon image PROGRAF TX-5410 – IOS:
- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon imagePROGRAF TX-5410.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon imagePROGRAF TX-5410 from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon image PROGRAF TX-5410 – Android:
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon imagePROGRAF TX-5410.
- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer not connecting to wifi:
- Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.
- Solutions:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct
- Place the printer close to the router
- Re-run Easy Wireless Connect
- Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect
- Restart the router and printer
- Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website
- Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:
- Solutions:
- Ensure both printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network
- Restart your printer and device
- Reinstall the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile)
- For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected
- On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver

- Paper Jam:

- Turn off the printer
- Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer
- Check for torn paper pieces
- Restart the printer
- Solutions:
- Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors):
- Solution:
- Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed
- Run Print Head Cleaning:
- Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning
- Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu
- Ensure you’re using compatible paper
