    • Run the downloaded file to start the installation wizard.
  2. Connect to your network
    • The setup guide will prompt you to connect the printer.
    • For a wired (Ethernet) connection: Connect the printer to your router using an Ethernet cable.
    • For a wireless (Wi-Fi) connection:
      • Alternatively, if you can access the printer’s touchscreen, go to HOME > LAN settings > Wi-Fi > Settings > Wi-Fi setup > Easy wireless connect to connect the printer to the network first.
  3. Complete the setup
    • To finish the setup process, this will guide you through any final steps, such as registering the printer and completing any initial print head or ink system.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Power and supplies: Ensure the printer is on, has paper loaded correctly, and the ink tanks are properly installed and have sufficient ink.
  2. USB connection: If using a USB cable, disconnect it from both the printer and the computer, then reconnect it firmly. Try a different USB port on your computer or a different cable.
  3. Wireless connection: Check the network connection status on the printer’s control panel. Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. You can print a network configuration page to confirm the status.
